Patchouli herb (Pogostemom cablin)

The hippie's favorite!  Dried patchouli herb is great for sachets and potpourri.  Well-known to repel bugs, too! Patchouli has been used as a sacred incense and as a domestic fragrance for centuries. Eastern cultures use patchouli leaf as a natural sachet for linens and household belongings. Clothes scented with patchouli are said to attract lovers and repel adversaries.  Patchouli became popular in the USA during the late 1960s when it was associated with Hindu spirituality, sensual freedom and creative expression, and still retains its popularity today.

Morning Star Patchouli Incense

One of the finest imported Japanese joss stick incenses, this incense does not have a wood core, and so burns much cleaner. Use it to create a relaxing atmosphere for meditation and prayer.

Each box contains 200 joss sticks and comes with its own small ceramic burner. Each stick burns for about 30 minutes.
